Case Study

Evoke Creative Ltd

01
Situation
Driven by soaring demand from several blue-chip clients, including McDonald’s, Travelodge, JD Sports and Google, Evoke’s turnover has rocketed in the last few years and is forecast to jump to over £20m in the next few years. The procurement function needed to support this level of growth.
02
Solution
Pro Outsourcing were asked to conduct a full review of the Procurement function. We introduced a standard operating procedure, driving improvements in supplier relationship management. Numerous projects were also undertaken including supplier consolidation, new supplier identification, contract negotiations, cost reductions, KPI creation and alignment of a new ERP system to work in line with production requirements to maximise efficiencies.
03
Result
The result was a more competent and productive department that is ready to handle current volume but also the rapid growth predicted over the next few years. Through near virtual interaction using secure VPN lines, Pro Outsourcing manages the tail-end spend of Evoke, running and responding to MRP signals, expediting deliveries and interacting with suppliers as if we are Evoke employees. A 54% improvement has been seen in otif supply along with significant savings identified and implemented through the introduction of a line-side Kanban system.

“…Brought in to deliver on our supplier strategy and review our mrp software. During this process they identified various shortfalls in our practices and have displayed an exceptional ability to address business complexity with clarity and logic - resolving issues and constraints quickly and efficiently. Their approach is further supported by a deep understanding of purchasing/supply chain leveraged to deliver the objectives of the business. Tom is an outstanding professional and I have no hesitation in recommending him”
