Google is a source but it is certainly not the best, remember it is a search engine that favours paid advertising and companies that understand SEO. I use various sources to provide the best possible selection.. 
but it also depends where you are in the sourcing process against what timelines, if you’ve got a decent lead time you can source using a wide variety of the tools in combination. If it’s really short, you’ve got one or two, which in my experience is your existing network the Google and qualified analysis of those companies.
